BREAKING: President Trump Nominated for SECOND Nobel Peace Prize- Media SILENT

OPINION by Leisa Audette at 100 Percent FED Up

President Trump was nominated earlier this week for a Nobel Peace Prize and has just been nominated for another one. The second one is for brokering a historic peace deal between Serbia and Kosovo.

A member of the Swedish Parliament, Magnus Jacobson, announced that he was nominating the Trump administration and the two European nations for their “joint work for peace and economic development, through the cooperation agreement signed in the White House.”

President Trump joined the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo to sign a landmark economic normalization agreement last week.

Earlier this week, President Trump was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by a member of the Norwegian Parliament for helping broker a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

The official Nobel website names 318 candidates for the 2020 Peace Prize. The winner will be announced in October of 2021.

Our previous report on President trump’s first nomination for brokering a peace deal with Israel and the UAE:

President Donald J. Trump will never get proper credit for his incredible accomplishments during the 3 1/2 short years he’s been in office. A brave, Norweigian Parliament official, who admits he’s not personally a fan of President Trump, aims to change that. Christian Tybring-Gjedde, who is also chairman to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, has nominated President Donald J. Trump for a 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. The Norwegian official notes that his decision to make the nomination was based on the facts and not on emotion, citing the Nobel Peace Prize Barack Obama won for “doing nothing.”

The nomination comes only weeks after President Trump helped to broker a historic peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Fox News reports-The nomination submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, lauded Trump for his efforts toward resolving protracted conflicts worldwide.

“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of Parliament who also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, told Fox News in an exclusive interview.

Tybring-Gjedde, in his nomination letter to the Nobel Committee, said the Trump administration has played a key role in the establishment of relations between Israel and the UAE. “As it is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game-changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity,” he wrote.

The Daily Star reports- Mr. Tybring-Gjedde, who also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, told FoxNews: “Trump has broken a 39-year-old streak of American Presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States.”

In his nomination letter, Mr. Tybring-Gjedde wrote: “For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.

“As it is expected, other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game-changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity.

“Indeed, Trump has broken a 39-year-old streak of American Presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States into an international armed conflict. The last president to avoid doing so was Peace Prize laureate Jimmy Carter.”

Mr. Tybring-Gjedde was keen to stress that he is not a “big Trump supporter” and said the committee “should look at the facts and judge him on the facts – not the way he behaves sometimes.”

He added: “The people who have received the Peace Prize in recent years have done much less than Donald Trump.

“For example, Barack Obama did nothing.”

Democrat presidential candidate and former Obama VP Joe Biden attempted to take partial credit for the historic peace deal, saying he laid the groundwork for the agreement.

Biden praised the agreement, under which Israel and the UAE will achieve full normalization of relations. He promised that he and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) would build on the deal if they are elected to office in November.

It’s not the first time President Trump was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. In June 2018, The Hill reported – A pair of Norwegian lawmakers nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize after he signed an agreement with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday to work toward the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

The nomination, reported by Norway’s state broadcaster, NRK, comes a little more than a month after a group of House Republicans sent a letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee formally requesting that the president be nominated for the coveted prize.
