George Buck, a candidate for Florida’s 13th Congressional District and avid Trump supporter, has been making headlines lately. From viral videos to being booted from a Starbucks, and now for calling for members of Congress to have to be natural-born U.S. Citizens.
One of his primary opponents, Amanda Makki, would be disqualified if his ideas were enacted upon. Another one of his Republican opponents, as reported on today by Big League Politics, has vyed for DACA recipients to receive amnesty into the United States.
He has also slammed the incumbent Democrat, Charlie Crist, for being a weak leader in tough times. Buck recently tweeted a confirmation of his calls after receiving both positive and negative feedback from Floridians and other Americans:
“We only want people loyal to the United States in Congress! No spies and traitors! Natural born citizens ONLY!”
He is not mincing words. See tweet:

Buck previously tweeted about it on the 27th, and added that Ilhan Omar (D-MN) should be the “first one to go”. He tweeted in full:
“When I get to Congress I am going to propose a law or Constitutional Amendment that says all Congressmen and Senators need to be natural born citizens just like it is for President. The Founders knew what they were doing when they put the President Natural Born Citizen Clause in place. There is too much disloyalty going on in our country and in Congress and it is needed NOW! First one to go is @IlhanOmar!”

Florida Politics, an oft-left-leaning publication covered his recent statements, and Buck wasn’t even bothered by it according to another tweet where he said “Correct. Even the #FakeNews@Fla_Pol gets a story right once in a while.”
Florida Politics reported in part, regarding his opponent Amanda Makki:
This isn’t the first time Buck’s campaign has clashed with Makki.
In January, a group of Buck supporters showed up at a Makki campaign event with signs accusing Makki of being a terrorist. Buck condemned the racially motivated claims.
Buck had also come under fire for implying in a December email that U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar should be hanged.
Makki is mounting a sizable list of supporters, most recently from the Fraternal Order of the Police. Her endorsements also include a significant list of military veterans, including Sen. Joni Ernst, who is the first female combat veteran elected to serve in the U.S. Senate, U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz, U.S. Rep Neal Dunn and combat veteran Robert O’Neill.
Makki formerly served as Senior Health Advisor to Alaska Republican U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
August 18th is the Republican primary for this contentious race.
