The Democrats and Antifa/BLM have no intention of stopping their spree of monument and statue destruction with confederate types, they intend to paint all of American history as racist and evil.
In the latest outrageous move, the president of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City has asked the mayor for permission to remove a statue of Theodore Roosevelt.
Via the Washington Times:
The American Museum of Natural History will remove a prominent statue of Theodore Roosevelt from its entrance after years of objections that it symbolizes colonial expansion and racial discrimination, Mayor said Sunday.
The bronze statue that has stood at the museum’s Central Park West entrance since 1940 depicts Roosevelt on horseback with a Native American man and an African man standing next to the horse.
“The American Museum of Natural History has asked to remove the Theodore Roosevelt statue because it explicitly depicts Black and Indigenous people as subjugated and racially inferior,” de Blasio said in a written statement. “The City supports the Museum’s request. It is the right decision and the right time to remove this problematic statue.”
The museum’s president, Ellen Futter, told the New York Times that the museum’s “community has been profoundly moved by the ever-widening movement for racial justice that has emerged after the killing of George Floyd.”
“We have watched as the attention of the world and the country has increasingly turned to statues as powerful and hurtful symbols of systemic racism,” Futter told the Times.

What makes this even more outrageous and troubling is the fact that the president of a museum is initiating the removal of an “offensive” piece of history.
While the mob is driven by passion and ignorance, the only possible explanation for a museum president wanting to suppress history is because leftist politics is more important than history and truth.
The left has taken control of almost every institution in America and has politicized and destroyed everything they’ve touched.
If a museum president cannot be trusted to preserve history, and puts the politics of the moment ahead of truth, then all is lost unless we can turn it around.
It’s time for those of us on the right to rise up and reclaim these institutions. If leftists can march in the street and demand change so can those on the right.
