The one thing someone suffering from alleged mental acuity decline should never attempt to do is to be clever, but then, because of said alleged mental acuity decline, those people may not know any better.
That includes the Democratic Party’s presumptive 2020 presidential nominee, especially.
Joe Biden tried to tag President Donald Trump with a nickname in the same way the president nicknames his political opponents.
But unlike Trump, Biden’s effort bombed big time.
Biden labeled Trump “President Tweety” Monday as an apparent reference to Trump’s frequent use of Twitter to reach his 80 million followers.
“Sleepy Joe,” as Trump calls his likely November rival, was complaining about the president’s response to the coronavirus pandemic in a video speech to the Asian American and Pacific Islander Victory Fund’s uber-Left-wing summit.
“Trump is out there tweeting again this morning. I call him President Tweety. Reopen the country, end of quote,” Biden said from his home in Delaware.

“How are we supposed to do that if you’re sitting on the money small businesses need in order to stay alive? Stop tweeting about it. Get the money out to Main Street now. It’s there. It’s been passed,” Biden said.
Yeah, it’s been ‘passed,’ but not that long ago. And if anyone can appreciate the amount of bureaucracy inherent in the federal government, it’s a Democrat like Joe Biden, who has spent years building it up over his decades in Congress — where he never built a single business or venture, unlike the president.
As for the nickname, it fell flatter than an off-key opera singer.
“People not named Trump should really stop playing the nickname game. No one seems very good at it and it’s embarrassing,” former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who had a falling out with Trump during the first GOP debate in 2015, wrote on Twitter.

Donald Trump Jr. weighed in, as well.
“‘President Tweety’ is exactly the type of high quality nickname that you would expect to come from someone who uses the phrase ‘lying dog-faced pony soldier’ like it’s a normal thing to say,” he tweeted.

So cringeworthy! ????????????

Yes, how could we forget ‘dog-faced pony soldier?’
Others, like Fox News host Sean Hannity, just had fun with it.

Just last week Biden said in an interview, “Look, Trump is a master at laying nicknames on people, but the vast majority of the voters out there that have voted, including young people, are not getting all their news from the internet.”
Maybe he just…forgot.
