BOOM! Starbucks Getting Sued For Racial Discrimination After Firing WHITE Woman

OPINION – You may recall a controversy in April 2018 involving a Philadelphia Starbucks franchise in which two black men were arrested for being customers, essentially.

Naturally, Left-wing loud mouths used the incident to “prove” that white people are just inherently racist; the manager of that particular franchise was a white.

The franchise took ‘action.’ All employees at the 8,000 coffee shops were required to take ‘racial sensitivity’ training and white managers and regional managers were fired.

WHAT A JOKE.

Shannon Phillips, a white woman formerly in charge of “retail operations in southern New Jersey, the Philadelphia region, Delaware, and parts of Maryland,” according to The Philadelphia Inquirer, was one of those who was terminated.

Why? Well, just as the two black men were hassled for “shopping while black,” Phillips and the others who were fired were punished for no reason as well.

Phillips said she was not fired in direct response to the arrest incident, which she says she was not involved with.

But she noted that she was fired less than a month later for speaking out about the allegedly unfair corporate punishment of one of her employees — a white district manager who was also not involved in the April 2018 controversy — in light of the scandal.

The suit says Starbucks sought to “punish white employees who had not been involved in the arrests, but who worked in and around the city of Philadelphia, in an effort to convince the community that it had properly responded to the incident.”

The incident Phillips spoke out against involved Starbucks accusing a white district manager of paying black employees less and attempting to put the manager on administrative leave.

Phillips called that accusation nonsensical and impossible, given that Starbucks’ pay policies are standard. In fact, The Inquirer reported, the chain’s “Partner Resources” branch sets “employee salaries without input from the store’s district manager.”

But the Leftist Starbucks corporate weenies were looking for white sacrifices, Phillips says.

Without commenting on the merits of her case, her allegations certainly ring true, don’t they?
