FACT: Trump is no perv, was the only one who helped prosecutors nail serial child molester Jeffrey Epstein

When billionaire financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges between 2002 and 2005, the ‘mainstream’ media mostly focused on a very tenuous connection between him and then-billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump.

A picture of Trump and Epstein — the future president posing with his future wife, Melania, and Epstein with then-girlfriend and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell — at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort in 2000 has circulated online and all through social media.

In fact, the attention should be on former President Bill Clinton and noted constitutional law professor Alan Dershowitz, the former of whom took at least two dozen trips with Epstein on his “Lolita Express” — his personal Boeing 727 airliner — when he even ditched his Secret Service detachment.

Granted, then-private citizen Donald Trump did travel in the same high society social circles in New York City and was pictured with Epstein. And while that alone proves nothing, the hostile mainstream media is attempting to use that connection as de facto evidence that the president is just as guilty as Epstein.

However, this is what the same outlets are not reporting:

According to an April 2016 report by  Radaronline, Trump had “no relationship” with Epstein and actually kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago for hitting on a minor.

The site reported:

…Trump’s lawyers have insisted that the presidential candidate and Epstein have “no relationship” and they would only deal with each other because the convicted perv was once a member of the Mar-a-Lago Club.

According to an investigation by Radar, Trump was among dozens of renowned New Yorkers who knew Epstein socially but ostracized him after Palm Beach police uncovered the financier’s sleazy double life.

Indeed, POTUS was the ‘only one’ who helped prosecutors in the prior Epstein case.

Florida attorney Bradley Edwards, who represented one of Epstein’s initial accusers more than a decade ago, said that private citizen Trump was the “only person” who provided assistance to him:

The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who, in 2009 when I served a lot of subpoenas on a lot of people, or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people, that I want to talk to them, is the only person who picked up the phone and said, let’s just talk. I’ll give you as much time as you want. I’ll tell you what you need to know, and was very helpful, in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever, but had good information.

That checked out and that helped us, and we didn’t have to take a deposition of him in 2009.

There’s more. Remember that little opposition research firm known as Fusion GPS? Yeah, they tried to tie POTUS to the Epstein, The Washington Times reported in December 2017:

Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm whose Democrat-financed Russia dossier fueled an FBI investigation into Donald Trump, pitched other stories about the Republican presidential candidate to Washington reporters, including an attempt to tie him to a convicted pedophile who was once buddies with former President Bill Clinton.

Journalist sources told The Washington Times that Fusion founder Glenn Simpson pushed the idea of a close relationship between Mr. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting sex from an underage girl.

The Trump-Epstein link appears purely social, far short of Mr. Clinton’s 20-plus plane rides on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private jet around the globe in the early 2000s.

Ken Silverstein, the reporter who ultimately wrote an Epstein-Trump report, confirmed to The Times that Fusion had sourced the story. Mr. Silverstein, founder and editor of WashingtonBabylon.com who wrote the story for Vice.com, defended Mr. Simpson as a solid source of information that must first be confirmed.

“I could not make a strong case for Trump being super close to Epstein, so they could hardly have been thrilled with that story. [In my humble opinion], that was the best story written about Trump’s ties to Epstein, but I failed to nail him. Trump’s ties were mild compared to Bill Clinton‘s,” Silverstein told the Times.

It’s disgusting that the Washington media complex would attempt to resurrect this false connection but it’s entirely predictable given the massive amounts of Trump hate percolating through the establishment press.
