Comey Terrified For His Life After “SpyGate” Investigation Launched According To Top Republican

Meadows: Nervous Comey pens new OP-ED in WaPo because he knows Spygate ‘actions about to be exposed by evidence’

By JonDougherty

Looks like the swamp creatures involved in Spygate are getting nervous again as Attorney General William Barr begins the process of declassifying and, hopefully, releasing all documents related to the “Spygate” coup attempt against POTUS Donald Trump.

One of them — fired FBI Director James Comey — turned to a reliable deep state mouthpiece, the Washington Post, on Tuesday to publish a panicked op-ed in which he, again, heavily criticized the president.

Still pushing the wholly debunked and discredited ‘Russian collusion’ and ‘obstruction’ narratives, Comey wrote:

…[M]illions of good people believe what a president of the United States says. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. We must call out his lies that the FBI was corrupt and committed treason, that we spied on the Trump campaign, and tried to defeat Donald Trump. We must constantly return to the stubborn facts.

“Normal times?” Like, when serial liar Barack Obama was president? Obama lied so much about everything we thought it had become part of a new presidential job description.

In any event, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) sees the desperation in Comey’s efforts to detract from his role in keeping Hillary Clinton out of jail and then trying to put Trump in prison.

“For someone so quick to accuse President Trump of lying, James Comey is awfully eager to hide documents on the Russia investigation from Americans. The math is not hard to do. He knows his actions are about to be exposed by the evidence,” he tweeted.

It should be noted that Meadows, along with ally and fellow Freedom Caucus member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), were spotted at the Justice Department last week a day before POTUS announced he had ordered all Spygate documents declassified.

Meadows told reporters he was “reviewing text messages and new correspondence that pertains to the [fired FBI counterintelligence agent Peter] Strzok coverup.”

Beyond that, Meadows has already seen the evidence implicating Comey in the coup attempt.

Asked earlier this month if he believes Spygate was indeed a coup attempt, POTUS Trump responded:

“Oh, I think absolutely,” POTUS said when asked if ‘coup’ is an accurate description of what has taken place regarding events that have occurred up to this point including the recently completed special counsel investigation and revelations regarding key FBI and Justice Department figures.

“If you look at what’s been happening and all the things you’ve been seeing with the ‘insurance policy’ statement from two [FBI] agents that are now gone [Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page], if you look at many of the elements of intrigue and…frankly, we’re going to be seeing a lot over the next couple of weeks, things that a lot of people haven’t seen.”

It should not go unnoticed that Comey turned to one of the two media co-conspirators in the enabling and perpetuation of the Spygate scandal and ‘Russian collusion’ hoax — the Washington Post (the other being The New York Times) — for a platform with which to lash out at the president and deflect blame and attention from himself.

Remember, Comey was a leaker as well during his tenure as FBI director; he obviously has lots of ‘friends’ in the deep state media.
