Trump’s kick-butt economy driving his approval ratings sky-high: Zogby
Polling firm Zogby just released a new survey gauging POTUS Donald Trump’s popularity and overall job approval rating and, let’s just say, it isn’t going to make former President Obama or Democrats smile.
The survey found that the president’s job approval has climbed to 51 percent, the highest of his tenure thus far and higher than Obama’s (48 percent) was at the same time in his failed, scandal-ridden presidency.

What’s really noteworthy about the latest Zogby findings, however, is where the president is drawing a lot of his support.
A majority of millennials (18-29), for instance, approve of the president (51 percent) while even more of the Americans aged 25-34 approve of him (53 percent). Even more of those aged 35-54 (59 percent) approve of POTUS’ job performance, while 58 percent of men approve and a large plurality of women — 48 percent — approve as well.
Meanwhile, 48 percent of suburban voters approved of Trump and most rural voters — 60 percent — approve.
And these figures could rise depending on what sort of crazy the Democrat Party eventually nominates as its presidential offering.
“President Trump’s job approval rating has seen a post Mueller report boost!” Zogby wrote.
“We called it a few weeks ago. But that’s not the complete story as to why the president has reached a peak in his job approval rating. Trump is also riding high on positive economic news-a record high stock market, low unemployment, and solid GDP growth at home,” the polling firm added.
“One of the demographics to give Trump a very good job performance rating were self-identified social networkers (59 percent approve/40 percent disapprove-people who engage with social media,” said Zogby.
“The president also made strides with college-educated (55 percent approve/45 percent disapprove), and saw support increase slightly with non-college educated voters (47 percent approve/50 percent disapprove).”
