Build it: Pentagon chief just approved additional money for POTUS Trump’s border wall
By JonDougherty at The National Sentinel
It’s not going to sit well with Democrats and their perpetually triggered Left-wing base, but Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan just approved an additional $1.5 billion for POTUS Donald Trump’s border wall.
The release was reported by Voice of America‘s Carla Babb, via Twitter:
#BREAKING #Border @ActingSecDef Pat Shanahan confirms he is transferring $1.5 billion in Pentagon funds for the border wall, including funds Pentagon was saving for #Afghanistan. But then tells me "I won't be reprogramming any more money for the border wall."

According to Babb, the money was originally earmarked for operations in Afghanistan and that Shanahan added that he won’t be reprogramming any more funds from the Pentagon to go towards the border wall.
But then, he may not have to, either, if a) the president finds money elsewhere; b) Shanahan does not get the job permanently as head of the Defense Department.
Either way, officials with the Department of Homeland Security, Border Patrol, and Customs and Border Enforcement all say that there should be additional segments of substantial border wall built along the U.S.-Mexico boundary.
That includes, by the way, Obama’s former DHS secretary, Jeh Johnson.
