White House tells Nadler, Dems, to stuff it, orders Don McGahn to ignore subpoena for Mueller documents

By JonDougherty at The National Sentinel

After two years of the ‘Russia collusion’ hoax, fake news, and complying with special counsel Robert Mueller’s every little request for information and documents — only to see the president further smeared by false allegations and innuendo in his final report — POTUS has had enough of the Democrat/deep state clown show.

Reports noted Tuesday that the administration has former White House counsel Don McGahn not to turn over one shred of paper or other information to the House Judiciary Committee in response to a politicized subpoena because the president is considering claiming executive privilege.

For the first time.

As The Hill reported:

Pat Cipollone, the current top White House lawyer, wrote a letter on Tuesday asking the House Judiciary Committee to go through the White House to request documents related to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

“The White House provided these records to Mr. McGahn in connection with its cooperation with the special counsel’s investigation and with the clear understanding that the records remain subject to the control of the White House for all purposes,” Cipollone wrote to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), chairman of the Judiciary panel.

“The White House records remain legally protected from disclosure under longstanding constitutional principles, because they implicate significant executive branch confidentiality interests and executive privilege,” Cipollone added.

The reported noted that acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney gave the order “not to produce” records via a separate letter Cipollone sent Tuesday to McGahn’s attorney.

The letters stop short of stating that POTUS Trump will indeed declare executive privilege, which keeps all conversations between himself and his staff private, but that is the next logical step considering the fact that Nadler and the rest of the Democrat circus have no plans to legislate any time soon because they’re too busy harassing the president.

The Hill noted, perhaps somewhat desperately:

Democrats and some legal experts say the White House lost its ability to invoke privilege when it allowed McGahn to speak to the special counsel’s office, which then published a report containing the details of his testimony. Trump decided against making privilege assertions over the contents of the report.

Well, we’ll see. No doubt this will wind up in court, where legal precedence favors the White House and the president.

No more Mr. Nice Guy, and frankly, given the Democrats’ refusal to let the Russia hoax go, it’s high time Trump forced them to move on.
