Democrat SAD face: Majority of Americans STILL don’t want POTUS Trump impeached, new survey finds
As the looniest of House Democrats continue to float the notion that impeaching POTUS Donald Trump for nothing more than winning the 2016 election, a new survey from a Left-wing ‘establishment’ media outlet — ABC News — won’t make them happy.
Just 37 percent of Americans surveyed by ABC News favor impeaching the president, which should send a bright, clear, flashing warning to the Democrat Party.
Why? Because that’s the lowest percentage thus far in the history of this poll who say that the president should be impeached.
Before the Mueller report was released last month, 41 percent believed the president (without merit) should face impeachment. But even that stat was far lower than the 49 percent who said so in August 2018, long before much was known about the fallacious nature of Mueller’s probe and the coup attempt to depose POTUS.
Meanwhile, in the latest survey, more than half — 56 percent — said that no, POTUS should not be dragged through an impeachment process (because he has not committed any impeachable offenses).
Interestingly, however, many more respondents said they believe the president did obstruction justice. Almost half — 47 percent — said so compared to 41 percent who do not think so.
And just 31 percent agreed with the president that the Mueller report exonerated him, while 53 percent said the report did not clear him of all charges.
Why the conflicting, seemingly hypocritical, responses? Methodology: The survey lists partisan divisions as 29-26-36 percent, Democrats-Republicans-Independents. It’s a common technique by the Left-wing media to hide a number of “Democrats” in the “Independent” category, and when you’re starting with fewer Republican respondents to begin with, you can get skewed results.
In any event, impeachment is not really an option for Democrats at this point or at any point in the foreseeable future.
Then again, if it means most Americans will turn against Democrats in 2020, we recommend they go the impeachment route, and the sooner, the better.
