House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff and other dems are freaking out over the fact that Mueller has officially ended his investigation into the Trump Russian collusion witch hunt.
In fact, Schiff wants to subpoena special counsel Robert Mueller to drill him about the details of the report.
More wasted time and money- the two things that dems are good at.
“If necessary, we will call Bob Mueller or others before our committee,” Schiff told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, noting also that the Judiciary Committee might summon Attorney General Bill Barr to answer questions as well, The Daily Caller reports.
The California Democrat’s comments came shortly after Mueller delivered Barr his report on Russia’s intervention into the U.S. election.
Schiff added: “This began as a counterintelligence investigation by the FBI. It began as the same in our committee, and we have a right to be informed and we will demand to be informed about it.”
This is not the first time Schiff dismissed the importance of the Mueller report. Earlier this month, he insisted that the question of whether Trump was “compromised by a foreign power” would end only when Schiff’s panel’s investigation ends, Fox News reports.
“Our predominant concern on my committee is: Was this president, is this president, compromised by a foreign power?,” Schiff said during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“Well, if there’s insufficient evidence in the Mueller report and we’re not able to produce sufficient evidence in our own investigation,” Schiff said, “that ends the inquiry.”
No, you idiots will NEVER stop with this russian crap.
“If the Justice Department doesn’t release the whole report or tries to keep parts of it secret, we will certainly subpoena the parts of the report and we will reserve the right to call Mueller to testify before the committee or to subpoena him,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said in a statement.
Nadler is leading an investigation into “alleged obstruction of justice, public corruption, and other abuses of power by President Trump,” a probe he announced earlier this month and has requested documents and records from 81 individuals and entities connected, in some way, to the president.
What a joke.
The Department of Justice is required by regulations governing the special counsel to disclose whether the agency rebuffed any major investigative requests from the special counsel. Mueller was never ordered to stand down on any major areas of inquiry throughout the more than two-year long probe, according to Barr.
President Donald Trump said Wednesday he believes the public should have the opportunity to see the document, though the president added he would ultimately like to see it beforehand.
These dems have been going insane ever since Hillary lost the election and are eternally butt-hurt.
Maybe we should start a Go-Fund me to purchase truckloads of PREPARATION H!
