Cory Booker Comments Come Back To Haunt Him After What He Said About Jussie Smollett Hoax

With every day that goes by things get worse for “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett and his scam.

But that is not stopping perennial race baiter and opportunist Sen. Cory Booker from making himself look ridiculous.

When the fake attack first happened Booker was one of the first out of the gate calling it a modern day lynching.

“The vicious attack on actor Jussie Smollett was an attempted modern-day lynching. I’m glad he’s safe.

“To those in Congress who don’t feel the urgency to pass our Anti-Lynching bill designating lynching as a federal hate crime– I urge you to pay attention,” Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker said.

He was joined by other Democrat presidential candidates who could not wait to get on the attack.

“.@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery.

“This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate,” fellow Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris said.

Another presidential candidate that got in on the action was New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.

“This is a sickening and outrageous attack, and horribly, it’s the latest of too many hate crimes against LGBTQ people and people of color. We are all responsible for condemning this behavior and every person who enables or normalizes it. Praying for Jussie and his family,” she said.

Other top Democrat lawmakers who are not, at least not yet, presidential candidates also got on the pile.

“There is no such thing as ‘racially charged.’

“This attack was not ‘possibly’ homophobic. It was a racist and homophobic attack.”

“If you don’t like what is happening to our country, then work to change it. It is no one’s job to water down or sugar-coat the rise of hate crimes,” New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said.

But now that it is being revealed that Smollett faked the attack suddenly Booker wants to wait for all of the facts.

“Well the information is still coming our and I’m going to withhold until all the information actually comes out from on the record sources,” he said.

“We know in America that bigoted and biased attacks are on the rise in a serious way,” Booker told reporters.

But hey even if it did not happen to Smollett it totally could have because white supremacy and President Donald Trump and stuff.

“We actually even know in this country that since 9/11 a majority of the terrorist attacks on our soil have been right wing terrorist attacks, a majority of them white supremacist attacks,” he said.

“We have seen painful realities surge in our country, a rise in anti-Semitism, anti-Islamic attacks,” Booker said. “We’re seeing just a vicious, horrific, cruel violence that’s motivated by bias and hate. We need to do more to protect all Americans and make sure all neighborhoods and communities are safe.”

What a mess…
