An aspiring boxer from Cuba pleaded not guilty to a felony vehicular manslaughter charge this week after an aleged DUI collision left a pregnant California woman and her unborn baby dead, FOX NEWS reports.
The crash happened while Krystil Kincaid, 29, of San Jacinto, was talking with her husband via speakerphone, KTLA-TV of Los Angeles reported.
Marcos Forestal was charged with a DUI, after the vehicle he was driving swerved into oncoming traffic and slammed into a mini van that Krystil Kincaid was driving. After the crash Marcos got out of his vehicle and live streamed the accident. The cuban national did not do anything to help the female driver as he spoke in spanish about, look what happened to him.
“Guys a car appeared and I had an accident,I had an accident. Look at what happened to me, gentlemen. A car came out in front of me and look and what happened to my car. Look what happened to me guys, look.”
Krystil Kincaid was on the phone with her husband at the time of the accident, she was eight months pregnant and her husband heard everything as it transpired.
“She yelled and she screamed in terror, It was a mixture of impending doom, realization she wasn’t ever going to see her kids again. I heard the crash. I heard the tumbling and then, silence. All I could think is how…how am I supposed to get my kids and tell them they don’t have a mom anymore?” ~ Zach Kinkaid
Krystil Kincaid was a mother of three and had been married to Zach Kincaid for 12 years, both Kincaid’s legs had become pinned underneath her dashboard due to the extensive damage her car sustained. Officials who responded to 911 reports of the crash found the silver van was partially on fire. After firefighters put out the flames, first responders had to extricate Kincaid.
“The pain and anger I feel within my soul is immeasurable, my heart is broken. Until we meet again Raven…” Zach Kincaid
My life has been full of adversity, but today I experienced the hardest thing i have ever done. I told my 2 daughters…
Krystil was flown by helicopter to a nearby trauma center, and officials had originally said she was expected to survive. But according to Zach, she and her unborn child were legally dead as of Tuesday. Krystil remained on a breathing device only so that her organs could be harvested for donation, he said.
Forestal showed signs of alcohol intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and causing a collision that resulted in major injuries. The BMW that Marcos was driving was going at a high rate of speed.
The arrest charge was upgraded to gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, inmate records indicate.
It angers me that mainstream media reports more on Marcos and his “aspiring” boxing career than the innocent lives of a young mother and unborn child that were taken from a young family because the scumbag Cuban was drinking and driving.
Prayers go out to Zach Kincaid and his children and the extended family that will forever miss Krystil Kincaid.
