As the Democrats shift to the far left on a number of issues from health care to immigration, they’ve already gone all in on one of the most contentious issues around — gun control, Fox News reports.
During her 2010 U.S. House campaign, Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick of Arizona highlighted her “A” rating from the National Rifle Association. She opposed gun-control measures and regaled constituents in her largely rural district with stories of hunting with her father. In 2018, Ms. Kirkpatrick is running to return to the House espousing a gun-control platform that is among the country’s most aggressive.
Democrats believe now is the time to capitalize on the issue, said Tyler Law, a spokesman for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
“Republican inaction will continue to generate political backlash and help Democrats take back the House,” he said.
Firearm debate is an age old tactic to get the sheep to vote for them and attacking the 2nd amendment is their go-to move. Just look at California and all of their democratic lunacy:
“Reinstating the federal assault weapons ban that was in effect from 1994 to 2004 would prohibit manufacture and sales, but it would not affect weapons already possessed. Instead, we should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons, we should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law, and we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons.” Rep. Swalwell
What this all suggests is that Rep. Swalwell, and others like him, aren’t at all interested in truth or facts. They have one agenda on their plate, and that’s to chip away at – and eventually completely eliminate – the Second Amendment right of Americans to own the firearms of their choice. This further makes Rep. Swalwell an enemy of this Constitutional Republic, as well as an enemy of We the People who own and operate it.
The democrats are starting to convince Hollywood and businesses, banks and professional organizations along with a ton of others to make a stand against firearms.
Physician members of the American Medical Association are pushing the nation’s largest doctor group to back an “unprecedented” number of measures designed to curb gun violence and coax Congress into action.
“Gun violence in America today is a public health crisis, one that requires a comprehensive and far-reaching solution,” AMA president Dr. David O. Barbe said. “This is an important issue, as demonstrated by an unprecedented number of gun violence prevention proposals that physicians have submitted for discussion during the upcoming AMA policy-making meeting.” Forbes
