The New York Jets wanted to partner with Blue Lives Matter this season, but the pro-cop group stiff-armed the team’s advances Tuesday — claiming the NFL doesn’t respect cops, and flagging the Jets for signing a player who once posted an image of an officer’s throat being slashed on social media, New York Post reports.
Anthony Bulak of the New York Jets is a senior manager and describes his duties as, “Over my four year career in professional sports, I’ve helped businesses increase sales and make the most of their relationships with their top clients, prospects, vendors, and employees.” Bulak attempted to solicit Blue Lives Matter to sign on with the Jets promotions:
“With the NFL season right around the corner, there is no better time to open up a conversation about how your business/organization can benefit from a partnership with the New York Jets,” Bulak said.
Blue Lives Matter founder Joe Imperatrice replied:
“Although I’d love to work with an NFL team right now I feel it is not the right time. All over the United States players feel entitled to disrespect our first responders, our military members both past and present and our flag. These players make more money in a season than some people make in a lifetime and their ‘Issues’ are made up, exaggerated, and more times than not false. Once again I do appreciate the offer but revenue we have could better be spent on the families of officers killed in the line of duty protecting the ignorance of these individuals rather than contributing to their paycheck.”
Bulak countered Blue Lives Matter response with a reply that shows complete ignorance on this issue of spoiled ignorant players vs. the fans and the United States:
“I appreciate you sharing your opinion and although I can’t comment too much on it what I will say is the Jets have never had a player protest our anthem. The Jets have always been supportive of our police, firefighters, EMTs, etc. and will continue to do so.”
Blue Lives Matter knows that the “protests” are nothing but hate and anti LEO, Military, Trump and has everything to do with black power and violence, as the newly signed Jets running back has previously displayed.
“If I am correct the JETS may have signed an individual [ Isaiah Crowell ] who depicted a Grim Reaper slicing the throat of a police officer,” Imperatrice wrote, including a photo of the controversial 2016 social media post.
Crowell, who posted a gruesome cartoon image of a police officer getting his throat slashed on his Instagram account, adding the caption: “Mood: They give polices all types of weapons and they continuously choose to kill us…#Weak.”
It is great to see Blue Lives Matter take a stand against these pathetic thugs and their hate, they could have easily been bought off like so many other organizations, but they proved their valor and honor are far more important than greed.
Never again NFL, you allowed these thugs to destroy the game and the American sport that a nation used to love on Sundays.
