WASHINGTON D.C. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that killed one person in Northeast D.C. early Saturday morning.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in the 1700 block of Lincoln Road, Northeast.
At approximately 1:13 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the report of sounds of gunshots at the listed location.
While canvasing the area, members were notified that a shooting victim had arrived at a local hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 18 year-old Deandre Marshman, of Northeast, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
