BREAKING: At Least One Dead In This State, Multiple Injured In Unbelievable FREAK ACCIDENT


BREAKING – At least one person is dead and several others were injured in a freak accident after a TV station tower collapsed in Missouri on Thursday.

The tower collapsed in Fordland, Missouri Thursday morning. It was not immediately clear why the tower collapsed. The Logan Rogersville Fire Protection District confirmed the death on their Facebook page:

“Collapse: Crews are assisting SWCFPD with a tower collapse. Major incident. One confirmed fatality. Media staging will be at the end of 905 State HWY FF. Media contact is AC Talburt 417-839-7173.”

Crews were working on the tower and trying to replace it when it fell, KTTS reported.

An assistant fire chief says six people were on the tower about 105 feet in the air when it collapsed.

“Investigators say 1 dead in TV tower collapse in Fordland.”

“Tower collapsed in Fordland. One dead.”

“Many agencies lending a hand at deadly tower collapse in Fordland.”

Thomas Simmons, the Emergency Management Director of Webster County, told the Springfield News-Leader that seven crew members were at the scene at the time of the collapse.

The tower, which was said to be 1,891 feet tall, was completely on the ground, pictures of the scene showed.

“It’s very lucky that we didn’t have more fatalities out here,” Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Rob Talburt said.
