University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, senior Brenna Spencer is standing by her decision to pose with a gun in her waistband for a graduation photograph, Breitbart reports.
Amid a youth-driven gun control debate that has swarmed social media, a college senior in Tennessee is defending the provocative photo she posted of her with her firearm, with the caption, “I don’t take normal graduation photos …”
In the photo, posted Saturday, Brenna Spencer, 22, holds up the bottom of her “Trump for Women” T-shirt to reveal a handgun wedged into the waistband of her jeans outside a Tennessee museum.

The senior at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, wanted the photo to “show who I am as a person,” she told ABC News.
“The response to the photo has been tremendous, including many negative comments. I did think that it would get a little attention but not to this degree. It was really, really surprising to see the amount of hate that I got.”
Spencer stressed that she owns numerous handguns and she carries one everywhere that law allows.
She graduates this May with a major in political science.
For those who are slandering and posting negative feedback on her twitter, they are just showing how ignorant and hateful they are.
Some of the responses simply make me want to deliver blunt force trauma to the idiots who posted.
They range from , people who think they know more than they actually do about firearms, to those who are clueless to firearm laws and the 2nd Amendment.
“I try to stay off the comments, to be honest,” she said. “I just know that I got a lot of hate.”
Spencer’s friend took the photo outside the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga but she did not enter the facility with her handgun, and therefore did not go through any kind of museum security.
She is educated on the 2nd Amendment and her state’s firearm laws, she is a beautiful and shining example of exactly how our youth NEED TO STAND.
Everyone should stand strong with her choice and be proud of her for knowing her rights and in a time when being Pro Firearm, Pro NRA and Pro Trump are being attacked by the left, she shows 0 fear and took the photo with pride.
Lead the way Spencer, educate and show our female youth of today that PRO Firearms, conceal and carry and ethical firearm ownership can be done not only looking badass but actually being a badass.
