“We’re raising a generation of kids where everyone gets’ a trophy. But in real life, everyone doesn’t get a trophy, In real life, the cops don’t come on time.”
While students and activists geared up to march in Washington, D.C., and across the country in support of new restrictions on the Second Amendment, rapper Killer Mike warned that gun control is way the progressive left can return black Americans to slavery.
Rapper Killer Mike is taking criticism from the left, particularly black leftists, after defending the Second Amendment and private gun ownership on NRATV, Breitbart reports.
Michael Render, better known by his stage name Killer Mike, is an American rapper, actor, and activist. He is the founder of Grind Time Official Records, which he launched through the SMC and Fontana Distribution. Mike made his debut on “Snappin’ and Trappin'” from OutKast’s 2000 LP Stankonia, and later appeared on the Grammy-winning song “The Whole World”, a single from Outkast’s greatest hits album Big Boi and Dre Present…Outkast. He has since released five full-length albums as a solo artist.
Mike said he told his kids, “I love you, but if you walk out that school walk out my house.”
“Celebrities often don’t know what to do. They’re told what to do, George Clooney and Steven Spielberg pledged $500,000 to Saturday’s gun control march. You can’t continue to be the lackey, You’re a lackey of the progressive movement because you have never disagreed with the people who tell you what to do.”
“Celebrities often don’t know what to do. They’re told what to do,” Killer Mike said, explaining how a famous rapper, who’s a friend of his, felt pressured into doing an anti-gun promo. Killer Mike told his friend that he’s very pro-Second Amendment” and that it is about the children for him — after a shooting on his daughter’s college campus (Savannah State University); “I talked to my wife and daughter after that, the decision was we’re going to go to Savannah, she’s going to get a gun and train more.” Breitbart Reported
Mike believes that defending the Second Amendment is an issue where a division arises between people who might otherwise be political allies, saying, “We are a gun owning family. We are a family where my sister farms. We are a family where we will fish, we will hunt, but we are not a family that jumps on every single thing an ally of ours does because there are some things we just don’t agree with.”
After the video was released on NRATV, the left wasted no time in attacking Mike and his statements.
These NRA extremists think if they keep repeating this debunked lie over and over again, somehow it will become true. pic.twitter.com/DdsvSnzZqq

I have to respond publicly because your NRA video was public.
1. They aren’t simply a news platform.
2. They’ve abandoned us many times over.
3. They’ve targeted & threatened & cruelly insulted us many times over. @KillerMike – I love you. You played yourself.

Killer Mike responded to the criticism in an Instagram post, highlighting his conviction that private gun ownership is key to black Americans’ freedom. He quoted from Robert F. Williams’ Negros with Guns.
“My Opinions on Black Gun Ownership are based on the brutal history my people share with this country,” Killer Mike wrote. “Read and research #RobertFWilliams#NegrosWithGuns until u do u cannot be an ally of mine or possibly understand my personal perspective. Love and Respect to all.”

Now it is being reported that the rapper is back peddling and saying that the NRA used him.
Killer Mike, of the Atlanta rap duo “Run the Jewels,” took to Twitter Sunday to apologize for an NRA interview promoted by the organization during the weekend, which was released on the same day (Saturday) as the nationwide “March for Our Lives” demonstration in support of gun control.
According to Killer Mike, his interview by NRA personality Colion Noir was recorded over a week ago.
“That interview was used a week later by NRATV to disparage a very noble campaign that I actually support,” he said. “I’m sorry, guys. I’m sorry that an interview I did about a minority, black people in this country, and gun rights was used as a weapon against you guys. That was unfair to you and it was wrong, and it disparaged some very noble work you’re doing.”
Concluded Killer Mike, “I do support the march and I support black people owning guns. It’s possible to do both.” Click 2 Houston
What started out as a positive message turned into an attack on Mike then Mike backing down from all the pressure from the left and Black Lives Matter lunatics.
The March For Our Lives happened on Saturday and it was nothing but entitled teens and lunatic adults babbling about abolishing the 2nd Amendment.
An epic example of we do not allow children into politics and why they do not have the right to decide the fate of the 2nd Amendment. Also, a perfect example of the extreme failure of our educational system in American History, American Government and what freedom and liberty stand for.
It is baffling that people will even let these little brats have their protests and political voices heard when they cannot even pick up after themselves! It should be a rule, if you cannot pick up your mess, then you are not mature enough nor responsible enough to go to your little protests with your friends. RWT NEWS
