BREAKING: Secret Service On HIGH ALERT Over What Just Happened

Islamabad calls President Trump a liar and world deceiver. Promises to retaliate against President Trump and U.S.

Pakistan has warned the United States against undertaking any “unilateral” military action on its soil and rejected as baseless accusations of “inaction” against the Haqqani Network plotting deadly attacks in neighboring Afghanistan.

Chief military spokesman Major-General Asif Ghafoor reiterated Thursday that Pakistani forces have undertaken “indiscriminate operations” against terrorists, including Haqqanis,” rendering U.S. charges of “inaction” as irrelevant and baseless.

He went on to say the impact of Pakistan’s counterterrorism actions “will be seen in subsequent years and months.”

“Unfortunately, in this context, we are getting signals of a unilateral action from America,” Gafoor said while addressing a news conference at the army headquarters in Rawalpindi.

U.S. officials have long accused Islamabad of turning a blind eye or covertly helping the Afghan Taliban and Haqqanis to stage cross-border attacks against Afghan and U.S.-led forces.

The United States, under the Obama Administration has been funding Pakistan in “aid” to the tune of $33 billion dollars.

Which in all rights should be treason and funding known terrorist nation that not only endorses and provides funding to terrorists, they harbor terrorist organizations within Pakistan.

Beijing: China, on Tuesday, defended Pakistan saying the world community should acknowledge its all-weather ally’s “outstanding contribution” to counter terrorism, a day after US President Donald Trump lashed out at Islamabad for providing safe havens to terrorists.

On Tuesday, China, on expected lines, praised Pakistan’s counter terrorism record.

“Pakistan has made enormous efforts and sacrifice for the fight against terrorism and has made very outstanding contribution to the global cause of counter terrorism. The international community should acknowledge that,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said here when asked about Trump’s criticism of Pakistan.

He said China is glad to see Pakistan engaging in international cooperation, including counter terrorism, on the basis of mutual respect so as to contribute to regional peace and stability.

Pakistan delivered its rejoinder to US President Donald Trump’s “lies and deceit” tweet, telling the United States to stop blaming Pakistan for its failures in Afghanistan.

The response was also delivered on Twitter, where President Trump’s started the New Year, by slamming Pakistan for playing US leaders for “fools’ and providing safe havens to terrorists.

“No more,” he tweeted. The US had given Pakistan 33 billion dollars in aid in the last 15 years and yet, he said, Pakistan had “given us nothing but lies and deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools”.

“They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” Trump said at the end of his tweet.

Washington has long accused Pakistan, especially its security institutions, of turning a blind eye or covertly helping the Afghan Taliban and the Haqqani terrorist network to stage cross-border attacks against Afghan and U.S.-led forces.

Islamabad denies allegations it is harboring Afghan insurgents and instead complains anti-state militants are using the neighboring country for terrorist attacks against Pakistan.

Responding to President Trump with his own tweet, Pakistani Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said Monday his country “will let the world know the truth…difference between facts and fiction.”

Pakistan’s National Security Committee, comprised of the country’s top civilian and military leadership, will hold an emergency meeting Tuesday to discuss the situation in the aftermath of Trump’s tweet.

President Trump unveiled his new South Asia policy last August, in which Pakistan was blamed for providing “safe haven” to terrorists.

The administration also announced at the time that it was freezing $255 million in military assistance until Pakistan cracks down on extremists.
