ESPN is in serious trouble after the network allowed leftist politics to take over.

For at least a year, ESPN has seen ratings drop for its broadcasts, advertisers pull their ads, and numerous other indicators that Americans are fed up with its liberal slant with everything it does. Its problems started getting worse when it became obvious that only leftist viewpoints are allowed, following the termination of legendary MLB pitcher Kurt Schilling after he posted a meme critical of Islam to his personal Facebook page, and they’ve only become worse as its inherent bias became more obvious.

The most recent incident to enrage sports fans was ESPN’s handling of anchor Jemele Hill’s racist irade against President Trump. Hill went off on Twitter and called the President a “white supremacist,” a stunning act that she didn’t lose her job over, then even called for a boycott over remarks made by Jerry Jones.

ESPN only suspended her for the latter. Meanwhile, Schilling remains a terminated employee of the company for merely posting a meme.

Now, ESPN has found itself in a rather horrible position. People appear to be tuning out in record numbers amid seeing it’s glaring hypocrisy and double standards.

In fact, Breitbart News reported that in just the month of October alone, ESPN lost almost a half of a million subscribers.


There are a variety of ways, in which businesses judge whether they’re having a successful business day. However, if you’re losing over 15,000 customers a day, that is generally frowned upon.

No doubt, there are many frowns being worn on the faces of ESPN executives after reviewing the October Cable Coverage Estimates. ESPN lost over 15,000 subscribers for every day ending in “y,” during the month of October.

To put that into perspective, that’s the equivalent of losing Sacramento, California, the 35th largest city in the country, in a month. While many would welcome the loss of Sacramento, for a variety of reasons, when discussing losing a city of that size in a ratings context, it’s horrifying.

Yikes. Thigs aren’t looking good for ESPN, now are they?

To make matters worse for the network, it’s also being reported that it plans on laying off nearly 100 employees right after the Thanksgiving holiday. The move comes after ESPN laid off 100 on-air personalities back in April amid decreasing ratings and tanking subscribers.

The Hartford Business Journal reported:

Bristol sports media giant ESPN is laying off 100 employees after Thanksgiving, according to multiple news reports.

Sources have reportedly told Sports Illustrated that the layoffs are imminent, particularly within the company’s SportsCenter news program.

It looks like ESPN is soon going to be a thing of the past.

So there you have it. Yet another area that we Deplorables are winning in the culture war.
