Former Vice President Joe Biden made a stunning announcement.
The gaffe-prone former Senator recently stated that he has “a regret that he’s not President” during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and also stated he doesn’t want President Trump to have a second term.
Joe Biden thinks it’s critical that Donald Trump not get a second term — and though it’s early, he doesn’t yet see anyone else who could stop that from happening. So, he’s been telling people privately, that might mean he’ll just have to run himself.

The 74-year-old who recently lost a son to cancer has repeatedly teased the idea that he’s going to run in 2020. While America resoundingly rejected the Obama-era in the last election, it appears as if Biden wants to set himself up for embarrassment in the coming election, as Mediaite is reporting that he’s definitely going to make a run for the White House.
That’s according to MSNBC’s Donny Deutsche, who said on Friday’s episode of Morning Joe that a source close to Joe Biden told him that if the former vice president is healthy in 2020, he’ll throw his hat into the presidential ring.
And on Friday, during a discussion of a new report detailing Biden’s surprisingly fraternal relationship with successor Mike Pence, Deutsche made a revelation to his Morning Joe cohorts:
“I spoke to someone close to Biden, [who] said if he’s healthy, he’s going for it in 2020.”
Biden isn’t the only Democrat to consider a run for 2020, either. There’s been rumors abound that even Hillary Clinton is posturing to take a stab at the Office again as most democrats think the chances of President Trump winning re-election are slim due to the onslaught of negative coverage and allegedly record-low approval ratings.
Some other names that have come up are Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, California Sen. Kamela Harris, and even the geriatric progressive hero Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, all of whom are trying to pull the party to the far-left after the quasi-revolution brought about by Bernie Bros in 2016. There’s also billionaire businessman Mark Cuban, who’s hinted at a run but can’t seem to make up his mind whether or not he’s a Democrat or Republican.
Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. Of all of the candidates, Biden is well-loved in Democrat circles and he’s the most moderate of them all, but he faces an uphill battle as Republicans will undoubtedly tie him to the disastrous policies of President Trump’s predecessor.
In other words, stay tuned, folks. It’s going to be an interesting election in 2020.
