Residents of Chestnut Place Utah are outraged after the Home Owners Association started fining residents for flying the American Flag.
Erin Worthen, of Murray, says she was issued a $75 fine last week for the American flag display at her Chestnut Place residence, along with a notice from the homeowners association that said “all exterior decorations must be removed within 10 days following the holiday…Please remove your flag from the common area.”
Worthen told “Fox & Friends” Sunday she was “very frustrated and angry” at being told she can only fly the flag around holidays. Her father and grandfathers were Navy veterans and she said it has meant a lot to her to be able to display the flag every day.
The president of the homeowners association, Lyn Steinbergen told Fox 13 that she was “tired of seeing flags, not just the American flag, flying up and down the street all day and all night, 365 days a year.” She furthermore determined that “Flags are flown on holiday events. All we’re trying to regulate is when they go up and why they go down.”
Really? Regulate you own pathetic liberal life you filthy scumbag.
According to the report those statements didn’t go over very well, because Steinbergen resigned after making them.
Hell yeah! She resigned! LMAO what a loser!
The residents of Chestnut Place are considering taking this issue to court, but they are not the only people outraged over this latest attack on the American flag, as the Chestnut Place Facebook page is hearing from people around the nation, expressing extreme ire.
Those are just a sample of the opinions over this controversy, more can be seen on the Chestnut Place Condo, Utah Facebook page HERE
